You more than likely need to bleed the master and slave more. Also did you put the shim in that comes with that clutch?

You may also want to try a mighty vac to get the air out.

yeah it sounds like your clutch isnt fully engaging. Bleed what you can. Hopefully if it needed a shim you put it in there

I've seen this with every clutch install I've done on mine. Drive it for a while and it should work fine. During break-in, the engagement will slowly move up from the floor to the normal location. This is presuming you installed everything correctly including the shim.

According to rams website their clutches do not require a breakin. I would be concerned if with the pedal all the way to the floor my clutch wasnt fully engaging...break in or not.

That doesn't sound normal to me. Did the clutch come with a shim to go between the slave cylinder and the tranny? If you did install it, then you might want to bleed some more like someone else already suggested. Air can hide in the system even though you've bleed it numerous times. A mityvac helped me get lots of air bubbles out of my hydraulic system.

try Mightyvac'ing it, but I've ran into this problem with a ram & a spec clutch. I had to make the master cylinder adjustable to get the clutch to fully disengage, which is what you are looking for. Even though the clutch is all the way down its not letting go & that is why the wheels are spinnin. If you have already shimmed it I would look to getting, or making, an adjustable master cylinder.

I got all that worked out..when its on the ground it wont move the car i assume most cars do it if you put it up on all 4's..now i have a new problem..i have another thread on thnis but this thread is getting way more attention..the pedal went to the floor last night after having about 400 hwy miles on the new clutch..ive been told to bleed it more..well i found out its leaking somwhere..when i took the clutch out the weight of the tranny tugged on the slave line that steel braided line..so im not sure if that has anything to do with the leak but its leaking hardcore somwhere under the MC..its not leaking out of the quick connect fitting or the bell housing..its up by the engine somewhere because it runs down the body and drips out the subframe? wtf..help guys.

it could have pulled your rollpin out or messed up the line near the MC. I'd get a new MC as they come with a new braided line.

i've heard of some lines gettin too close to the headers or manifolds and the heats melts a hole in the line. but if that was the case the fluidwould probably by drippin out pretty rapidly.

Your line must be messed up somewhere inbetween because thats the only other place. Unless your MC is actually leaking out of it. My slave was leaking out of the piston (the old one rather).
