I cant stress enough about how important it is to have one of these units. But the cost of them has usually been so prohibitive that most people that want or need them cant afford them. A serious neck injury can occur at any speed let alone the speeds some of you are going down the 1/4 mile. http://www.adrl.us/ just made the HANS device mandatory. It wont be long before these things are mandatory in just about every class.

TTT for an amazing safety device. My dad used to race with Jim Downing (the brother of creater and co-creater himself of the HANS device) in American LeMans (no. 63 Mazda 4-rotor) and it saved my dads life in the 2000 Daytona Rolex 24 hour race when a Viper team punted him into the wall at nearly 140mph. Had Earnhardt been wearing the device he would have survived his crash.

Always wondered, is the HANS SFI dated? Does it have to be replaced every 2 - 3 years like other safety equipt.?

they are dated but it is only the tethers that have to be replaced not the entire unit.

Just got an email from the vendor saying that someone called up and ordered 2 of them. So that puts us at the required 8 units to lock in the pricing. I will hold the GP open for an extra week for anyone sitting on the fence about it.

12 units have already shipped. If you want one of thse you better jump. I will not be doing anothe group buy on these again.

Talked with the vendor today and they said that after this GP the HANS 20 will no longer be offered at this price. It will be going up an additional 50.00. So if you are on the fence about this you might want to jump on the wagon now to save yourself the 50.00
