For the rear it should be 50mm offset on the 17 x 11. Its a nice fit and does not stick out like bigfoot tires.

What size wheels is he getting? If He's going with 17x9.5 all around, I'd recommend the 56mm offset... Its perfect for that size wheel. If He's going with the 11" wheel out back I'd suggest what Urban Legend said.

for 11's i'd go with 50 mm

but with 17x9.5's i would also go with 50mm over 56mm, the 56mm stick in a little too much imo. But if you only can choose from 38 or 56, I would pick 56 for sure.

Yep - 56 front, 50 out back. The 50 in front would be perfect if they made it. Mine are inset a little too much - I will probably run a small spacer.

38 mm offset 9.5" wheels fit perfect on F-Cars. My Fikses are 38 mm. . . . . Now, since you want to drop it 2" . . . . maybe the 56 mm would suit you better.

Wow You're right. With the stock ride height, those 38mm wheels looks nice.
