Default lightweight flywheel in autmoatic??

does anyone make a lightwieghtfly wheel for auto ls1 cars......would if be worth it??

Automatic transmissions do not have flywheels. They have light weight flexplates. The fluid in the torque converter is heavy enough to dampen engine vibrations.

They are already light. And it doesnt matter cause you have a an auto.

Flexplates are really only there for the pinion gear on the starter, axial movement, and a mounting plate for the torque converter. Flexplates fell like they only weigh a pound, there really light. No need to upgrade.

To add to that, many aftermarket flexplates are actually beefier and weigh a little more than the stocker, for strength.
