Default Solid roller or hyd with direct port

Dilema time. I'm doing a new 408. In my garage are TFS 225 heads and a 250/255 112 cam. I'm looking at a solid roller set up that would cost an additional $2500. This is in addition to having to send/exhange my heads and sell my cam. I've always wanted to do a solid roller, but the $2500 would buy a nice custom dp and a stand alone fuel set up. Decisions, decisions.

You need to decide what your overall goals are for the car and go from there. If money is an option just do a big hydraulic and save the extra money. If you're looking for max power the hyd with dp would be a killer setup. A big SR setup is hard to beat as an all motor setup. How big of a shot will you be spraying?

Whatever an iron 408 with Callies crank, Callies rods, and JE pistons will hold. Actually, my current set up is a 100 shot single fogger, and I'd like to double that. Where is East Brady?

Ouch...why does it cost so much extra to go with a solid roller? I can see maybe $1800.00, but that would include a set of adjustable shaft rockers which would be a good idea with that big hydraulic as well. Of course i have never even contemplated this idea so perhaps there is more to it than I am aware of.
