Default dzus or hood pins need pics

I need pics or info how you did yours. I want to do dzus fastners but dont know how I should do it? Do I have to trim the inside of the fender to mount them in the body? Here are the ones I am thinking about buying http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I havent been able to find any pics. Any would be helpful. thanks

You can easily make rails like those. I was at Lowes yesterday and they actually sell aluminium strips that would be perfect for that.

You can also do without the aluminium, just notch or slice the drip rails on the fenders and rivet on your 90* bracket. That's how I'm going to do mine, less trimming on the hood, and you'll have to notch the lip on the hood for the brackets and that will actually make it easier to put the hood on too. When you set the hood on the car the notches will catch the bracket and it will hold itself in place while you lock down the 1/4 turns.

madman did mine, he used some chromoly tubing and welded the dzus tabs to it.
