Default FM Turbo Location high or low pics inside

Well I went out today to install my cam and don't think I can get the crank pulley off with the hot parts on. So I decided to try something and move the turbo up high and over to where the battery normally is. It's just mocked up for now but I like it and think I'm going to go ahead and chop up my hot parts and move it. Of course I'll need a battery relocation kit. Assuming I get a turbo blanket and either coat or wrap the DP do you think I will run into any overheating problems where it's at? What do you guys think? Keep it where it is now or move it up and over?

Same place. That's just the condensor in the pics for mockup to get my exact radiator specs. As you can see I cut the support and I can fit a 3" thick radiator in there with pusher fans.

They are edelbrock shorty headers with the Pham budget kit (I know) will probably swap over to the forward facing 6.0l manifold setup eventually. I found a set of 6.0 shotry headers, I wonder if they will work (plug access) instead of using the manifolds?

plug access on teh Drivers side with the gibson truck shorties was perfect, however i did have to modify it some.

Those are the exact same shorty headers I was thinking of. Do you have any pics? Who made your crossover? Looks like our setups are going to be very close when it's all said and done.

Damn 140 views and only 4 votes? What about the possibility of overheating issues?

Other than under the car, the GTO kits are on top. Manufacturers say with blankets no heat issues, even at city driving have come up.

In the new location, the induction tube to the throttle body seems too close to the heat of the turbo downpipe.
