How many of you guys use/used never dull on non cleared rims? I had some laying around and polished a tiny spot, and it looked really good. Would this be a good alternative to the other polishes?

not to take your thread away but quick question... How did u unclear ur wheels I got some automotive stripper for my 2000 Ws6 rims should I just spray/rinse them off and polish..

Why do people un-clear polished wheels? I thought that having the polished wheels cleared aided ALOT in keeping them looking nice? I thought that clearing them was a step up...any explainations?

Eventually cleared polished wheels dull out..the only way to bring them back at that point is to strip them and polish them again.

Any more information on Never-Dull? Is it similar to Zoop-Seal? I have some polished wheels being made right now and I'd like to keep em nice when they get in!

ive used it and it works good on polished rims and even on stainless steel, the best stuff ive found for polished rims is called extreme metal polish they have diffrent grits from fine to heavy and you can do them in steps depending on how bad your finish is. now that stuff makes polished rims look like a mirror.

what he said . Ive tried about 6 different polishes on the same rims and the best stuff soo far has been "heavy metal polish" thats the brand. You can buy it at les schwab in 3 different bottles or cotton. There is red/blue/and green which are stepped.

Use it on my Welds. They come out great. I like it better than Mother's

Nevr Dull comes in a can full of wadding. You rip a piece off and rub the metal. The you use a clean cloth to polish. I believe the trademark is now owned by Eagle One.

I use it on my motorcycle's polished pieces. Most of them were painted alum. So I stripped them, sanded, and polished. I keep up with the never-dull. The reason I like it is there isnt any paste to mess with. Like mentioned above...just rip some off, polish away...then buff off with a clean rag. I used to use mothers. I would get sick of having to have one towel to apply, then another to buff... Sounds kinda dumb...but I like just ripping and polishing.

Seems to last a bit longer than the mothers too...atleast on the bike. Hence the name... I have some WS6 wheels that I want to strip and polish...and Ill probably use never dull on them too.

Personally i think the Never Dull polish is the worst polish to use. It looks good at first but doesnt seem to last very well, and anything more then a gentle soap will usually streak the polish and create a film. It also isnt a good polish once your aluminum really starts to dull, but as a upkeep it works ok.

i didn't have good luck with neverdull or mothers. the best stuff in the world is home-made. go to any truck stop where they polish aluminum wheels for semis. they make their own polish and usually sell it in mt. dew bottles. just a dab of this stuff goes a long way. it shines like a mirror. a second choice is the black bottle of aluminum polish that napa sells. that stuff worked excellent too.

IMO, Never-Dull is best used on a chrome surface. Mother's Billet Aluminum Polish is best on polished surface.

I used never dull to polish all the A/C pieces under the hood, little work but excellent results Never dull rocks!

I used never dull and I still have 1/2 the can sitting here. It works fine but it just doesn't make my polished parts shine like I know they can. I've always ended up going back to Mother's Billet with a MicroFiber rag. The difference is night and Day. I've tried a bunch of different polishes and The ones I like the most are Mothers and Magic Mix. Right now I've got a jar of Blue Magic that I'm waiting to try out. I've heard mixed reviews about it but I'll give it a try. Wenel is supposed to be great but it should be for the price too
