Questions about the P-1SC system
I'll looking into getting a 1999-02 HO Intercooled system with P-1SC for my SS. I was going to do H/C but with Cali's **** car laws i figured I'd save myself some headache and just get a blower. The car is pretty must stock with just a lid filter (which wont matter once the blower is installed, a Granatelli MAF, stock manifolds and y-pipe with a Borla cat-back which i may be swapping with the GMMG. Just wondering what you'll think, and what hp numbers ill see at the wheel. Thanks in advance

With 8 psi of boost, we normally see a gain of 140 rwhp. The blower pulley is sized according to how your car is optioned. A 346 will take a larger pulley than a 408. A smaller pulley would also be needed if headers, exhaust, heads, cam, etc are added to your car. Elevation also plays a factor in pulley size. In the long run, we can get you pretty close to 7 psi, possibly right on.
Give me a call at 260 244-4808 for a great price. Bob

Just because it says 7lb pulley you might only see 5lb of actual boost. It is dependent on a lot of things, how well your engine moves air (intake and exhaust) how efficent your charger actually is. There are others but my brain isn't working too well today. by the way mine makes 550hp and 500tq with the 9lb pulley, although I only see 6lb on my gauge.
