Default Fallin outta fifth gear

I was driving to work today, just my normal ya know? As I went from 4th to 5th, seemed like I was pushing it past like a lock out, then it goes into gear, only to pop right back out, when I let out the clutch pedal.. so I try her again, no lock out this time, but same result.. (side note*** I feel like I could use a new clutch.. she is the factory piece and after 67k, I think a new one wont hurt) But I dont think its the clutch.. do I have a bad gear? Maybe a syncro?

Any help would be GREAT!!!

The clutch health(poor) would not cause this but a worn synchro clutchtooth would. Also a poorly adjusted aftermarket shifter could cause this.

From all of my problems in the past, this sounds exactly like a syncro if this has never happened prior to today.

So we all agree this seems like a syncro to ya'll too... okay.. now has anyone ever tried to replace a syncro in a T-56??
