Smile Pt # for already sized rings, please please please

I was reading about rings and all I kept seeing was you had to "file fit" them to the bore. Well, someone said there are rings out there that are already set up for the stock bore, does anyone have any numbers for these? All I am looking for is some good 100k mile el cheapo's (or is that an oxymoronic statement?).

I am not sure what to get and whats out there

I came up with 88894299 from GM parts direct. They also said this is not a good number any more. I then called Jason and he said a standard set was 224.00 . Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam, that makes me almost want to drive around with my 90lb compression readings.... Okay, they are actually 155lb's, but i would go down to 90lb before getting a set, lol.

Damn!! Where is there a place to get a set cheap? Why are they so expensive?
