Default what do I need?

Ok so I just bought a nice head/cam package from TSP (should be good for 430-440 rwhp). I have a completely stock '01 fuel system on my Z28. What mods do I need to make to the fuel system to support this level of power and to be expandable for future mods? I am a newb when it comes to fueling systems so any and all help is appreciated!

Take a look at the Racetronix kits, good to right around 600 rwhp. They are a direct replacement of the factory fuel pump and allow you to keep full functionality of the factory fuel system:

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Matt,

Thanks for the link, looks like a very well put together kit. Thats what I like to see. Now what about fuel lines and fuel rails as well as injectors. Do I need to upgrade those? What about a fuel pressure regulator? What is the purpose of it and when would I need one? Sorry for all the newb questions, I have a lot to learn about this side of performance.

Not unless you are pushing close to 600 you don't, if you want to do it for an appearance upgrade that is a different story. The Racetronix kit can be pushed to around 650 rwhp with the addition of a fuel rail mounted fuel pressure regulator and a return line run back to the tank (the stock fuel pressure regulator should be removed for the fuel pump module at this point). The racetronix harness also has a provision for connecting a boost a pump, pushing the HP to a bit over 700 rwhp.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Matt
