can i JB weld my air tube on my header back on?

that **** broke off last night and is making an awful ticking.

no you cant... that header will get well over JB weld's temp rating of 300*C. you need it properly welded.

huh?

looking at jb welds website... seems like if it would work on all this, it would work on this though... says its rated to 500*F, how hot does a stainless header get?

I tried to seal a plug in the exhaust manifold on my truck. JB Weld smoked right out. It will NOT work, I promise.

My EGT ranges anywhere from 650-800 degrees at idle, up to over 1300 degrees. I use the AIR tube hole as the EGT bung.

I had to JB weld my AIR block off plate on my stock manifolds after it blew out. I haven't driven it much since then but it doesn't look like it is going to last long. Race LTs here I come...
