Chevrolet Camaro 1967-2002 - 1979 Camaro Z28/350LT1 serial number

I have started to rebuild this car I drove back in the day when I was 17 years old. Me and my brother went splits on it but I eventually bought him out. I married at 24 and soon after the car went to hibernation. I'm 38 now going throw anything life crisis so I wont my machine back on the road. I will have a lot of pics to show later because I just joined up here.

My first question is, if anyone can please, tell me where I would find the engine number on what is suppose to be a 350LT1. Yes when I bought the car from some joe crazy mechanic he told me it was a 350LT1. I believe that in the front passenger side of the engine by the water pump of these Camaro Z28 would normally lye the serial number, is that right? because nothings there.

Well I can see that some have visited me with no response to my question. If it was related to the fact that I went on to long before the initial question .... Sorry. Well I found the number and all is still not know. It just tells me it could be either 302 327 or a 350 ... possible a 350LT1. :bang:

I'll just keep at it until it get done. I'm presently working on my bathroom for my girl. That’s her favorite place for everything. So I need it big and languorous.. lol ... lol ...
