Checking in from North Carolina.
Closed on the house today...it's all ours! We are so excited, but we're in NC until Friday, then we come back home and mow the lawn

Please buy a decent lawnmower that will last. It may be a little bit more expensive, but it'll last forever.
Honda makes a great self-propelled lawn mower. Always starts up on the first pull and are pretty quiet. Second best would be Toro self-propelled. They are good lawnmowers too.

See, the thing is, it's only a 5-10 minute job on the lawn. It's a townhouse, no big yard (little bigger for the end unit!) We just bought a little electric mower today. It actually did an awesome job on the lawn. If it doesn't do the job some day, we met a couple neighbors - one of them usually does the mowing for the whole row of townhouses... Real cool neighbors.
