Default Where to buy truck manifold flanges?

Is there another (read: less expensive) place other than Stainless Works where I can find flanges that fit the truck manifolds? They don't really need to be stainless, either. Thanks.

We can probably give a little better price if a few people buy them at the same time. Also, shipping is offered at a flat rate, if you're closer, we can check specific shipping. This means less cost too.

Thanks for the compliment ninetres!

They want almost as much for their mild steel flanges as Stainless Works' stainless version Turbo-Zone is cheaper, but still not enough of a price difference to warrant going w/ the mild IMO.

I just mentioned above that we can do a little better on the price. Plus the mild flanges are more forgiving. You have to be especially careful with the Stainless flanges as they warp easy when welding.

Go with the Stainless...everybody wants everything free and cheap.

HA, I hear ya....
Find a local waterjet machine and see how much they are to cut, then you'll realize the price structure that these sponsors have.. Tools cost money too ya know...

Let's not get our panties in a wad here... I just expected the price difference between mild and stainless to be greater, but I guess these particular flanges have to be custom made so the majority of the cost is in that.

The cost comes from quality as well.. If you want cheap, I can pull out my plasma cutter and cut on by hand for you for about $10, but it wont be the same quality as one cut by a laser or waterjet

I actually have access to a plasma cutter and considered trying that, but don't have any 3/8 - 1/2" stock laying around

Local waterjet hear would probably charge 15-20 dollars a flange, from stainless.

Yep and on top of that you have to buy more than 1 (this means from 12 to 20 pieces of EACH side).

So, let's see, he said above 15-20 each from his local water jet guy - okay, IF they waived the design and setup fees and IF they let him just buy one set. So that's $30 - 40, plus shipping. On these flanges we normally ship 2 day...sometimes overnight if the customer wants them faster, so I think we're about on track with his "hypothetical local good deal water jet guy".

I may be able to save you some money on your stuff then. Ive got a CNC and water jet setup here at a friends shop. No setup fee. But we are using whatever scrap that he doesnt use on his chassis stuff. Shoot me a pm, i should have something in the next 2-3 weeks.

Not much more than the Mild flanges - $65 - 70 shipped. Are you talking about T3, 4 bolt weld flanges or T4, 4 bolt flange?
