Southern Members - Anyone in southern SC or Savannah GA area?

Anyone in the Hilton Head Savannah GA areas? Where do you get your cars tuned at and go drag racing? I just moved here and finally got something to play with.

There was a place that could tune, but I believe they are in the process of relocating. There really aren't any good tracks around, they opened a new 1/8th mile about 40 minutes away from SAV but I heard it sucks. Check out www.cgfyb.com they meet every Sat. night

we do a lot together on the weekends.... car meet every saturday, and every 3rd thursday of the month hooters meet!

used to be, but it closed a few months back.

Yeah the Savannah River dragway had some issues and it's closed for the season. The owner said he was going to try to fix the issues though. The closes quarter mile I believe is Jackson, SC and I love that track. And as far as tuning goes a place just opened up call Carter racing enterprises which is supposed to be pretty good. Yeah, I'm from Hilton Head, a group of us meet up in Beaufort every other Saturday of every month. Our next meet is going to be next saturday. we might be moving it to Bluffton though, we haven't decided yet. I get my tuning done in Myrtle Beach and I usually go up to Darlington a couple of times a year
