tranny swap - general question

tranny swap - general question ok, im really really diggin the manuals. matter of fact, diggin 'em so much, i want to swap out my auto tranny for a manual, but lack the dough. 
but, just for kicks, wut all wuld i need to buy, other than a manual transmission, if i were to do a swap? new center console? a stick? new pedal? or does all that stuff come with a new tranny? about how much wuld i be lookn at to do a full swap (minus isntallation/labor costs)?
as for the guys who've done the swap, how has it been workin out for u? do u wish u culd go back to auto?
im just fartin around with the idea for now..its somethin i'd seriously consider doin once i get my baby paid off (prayerfully in a few months). just wanted to get a general idea of wut all's involved in this process. thanks for any input!
