Default 95 chevy TBI

I was thinking about putting an LS1 in my 95 TBI truck. It has a 4L60E transmission in it. What would be my best route? I have a torque convertor I took out of my 98Z28. Will the 95 4L60E in a truck bolt bolt up to a 98 LS1 and can I reuse the convertor?

Due to the bellhousing depth change you can't use the 98 TC with the 95 trans. You can use the 95 trans with the LS1 engine using the available GM spacer kit (spacer/bolts/flexplate). You'll need to re-use the 95 TC though.

I was also thinking of doing the same for my 94 Suburban. I am in the process of purchasing a 2002 6.0L with trans and transfer case. What mods would be required to install this into the big Sub? Would I have to get an aftermarket harness from somebody like Howell or someone like that?

Could I use the stock harness or is modified harness required? Would the PCM run separate from stuff like your radio and HVAC controls?
