Default Car died on me

I was driving this morning when I got to red light my car just died on me. This is the first time it happens during normal driving but it started right back up. I had plenty of gas, but when I got to the next light I did notice my rpms surging below 500. Anyone know why it would die and should I be worried?

When my battery went bad my car wouldn't idle at all. Do an under the hood fuse check - simple to check and causes similar problems. The AIR pump fuse of the ENG SEN fuse

Well I did get a code for a secondary air pump last week. P0410, I erased and hasn't come back since. Battery terminals are on tight, when it died though the only light that was on was the check gages light.

Seriously!? Pull the fuse and look at it. If the fuse link is broken...yup you guessed it....the fuse has blown.

becarefull when you tend to pull them out....if you havent checked them before or havent taken them out that much they tend to stick....like he said if the little link is broken or it looks burnt up...its bad....make sure also that the little red wire to the alt. is in its socket....

Ok I checked the fuses and they were all good. Wire to the alternator was in its socket also. What should I check next?

I did notice that the hose that connects to the pcv valve was loose and came off with little effort from the pvc valve. Should it really be loose? There was a good amount of oil in there. Is this normal?

thats normal from hard driving....the tubes you "can" pull off...if there falling off thats different...put them back on...also rattle your pcv see if it does rattle....it also sounds to me like you might have a air leak somewhere, check your fitting...ie egr, bellow, etc etc
