Its probably cheaper to chuck the LS in than to service it! I nearly bought a Ghibli once, they are a great shape and really cool interior, much nicer than a BMW..... but the thought of servicing it turned me off.

I live in Hong Kong and you could pick up a Ghibli for about USD15k...

Where is this car - Europe?

Why the twin air filters and snake-like intake plumbing?? Do the intake tubes go around the radiotor support or something? I guess I'd just want a less complex intake track. Nice work though. When can we see the rest of it??

Nice. I kinda like how the intake is in front of the engine bay. Thus out of the heat. It looks nice and clean but the pics are a little fuzzy. Show us more of the car and the swap if you have the pics!

thanks everybody, the car will be completely finished on monday, will post good quality pictures and the dyno sheet afterwards.

its not too expensive of a car but very nice to drive, and now its even less expensive to maintain since it has an good USA engine (LS7)

Now I am left wishing Maserati had sold the Ghibli 2 in the States.

That is an awsome project. It would be great if you could post pics of the engine bay.
