A4 to M6 swap need help

Default A4 to M6 swap need help

hey guys i been reading the sticky forum but one thing i ask them they didnt response so all the wire that i connect to where can i find all the wire for the clutch start switch reverse lock out and back up light wheres all the wire at and where do i connect to it and where all the wire locate thanks

Are you using the a4 wiring harness or did you swap for a m6 wiring harness?

i use the a4 harness thats why i dont know where the wire go where and wheres the wire come from

cluth switch is green and purple shouldve came with the pedal assembly and connects to the wires in the connector in your center console the guide helped me do it fine?

Instead of running the purple and green neutral safety wire under the carpet to the pedal switch you can run it from the pedal switch and about 10 inches to the wire bulkhead under the dash. This bulkhead is under the dash to the left behind the kick panel. This is where the wires from the center console go anyway.

For the reverse lock out and cruise control you have to add a pin to the VCM (vehicle control module). Somewhere in the sticky thread I said what pin numbers were, they need to be added, there are no wires there now.

This picture (click here) shows the pinout locations on the VCM.

And one more thing, since there are no pins where you need pins, take pins out that controlled the A4 and relocate them to where you need them for the M6.
For example I needed two pins so I took two out for the shift solinoids of the A4 and used them for cruise and lockout.
Or you can just get pins out of a donor car.
