Default Can you put a 315 on a 10.5" wheel??

Im looking at a set of torque thrust m wheels for the ss and the rears are 10.5" on a 44mm offset. im thinking a 285 or 295 is probably ideal but i wanna know if a 315 will work. what, if any, are the cons to doing this?

I just checked my Nitto Tire Application Guide and the recommended rim width range for a 315 tire is 10.5 to 12 inches. It is the minimum width recommended but, should be just fine. Not to mention, I have 315/30R-18 on my 18x10.5 Z06 replicas too but, I thought the official word from a tire manufacturer would be useful.

As Troy said a 10.5" wheel fro a 315 series tire is just fine, but it is the ABSOLUTE smallest recommended.

I ordered my TT M's on Monday with 10.5 in the back. I bought 315's for them and heard no complaints from Tomzwheels about the tire size I selected.

Which ones did you get. Reason I ask is I tried to order the black ones and discount tire told me American Racing is backed up at least a month for black 17x10.5s.
