Isn't that the truth. To be a motorsports town rich in automotive history, the city and other organizations do not promote events like they should. I don't understand it either. The Harley Drags get a lot of attention, and more hoodlums attend that show, so people can't say that the hot-rodders cause trouble.

What they cause is MONEY PROFITS REVENUE etc. and what town doesn't need that?

Next years event will NOT be held at the Corvette Museum. This is going away from trading, I know. This decision was made due to the turn out of cars each year gets smaller and smaller, partly due to the fact GM stopped building the fbody.

In 2007, the event will be held at the Heritage Center in Detroit MI.

I dont think this was confirmed by Scott Settlemire, but I know that this was agreed on in BG in 06. Im sure that as the date nears, we'll hear more about this.

You guys have got to keep an eye out for events posts! There was a post about BG many weeks prior.
