Might have clogged the fuel filter and/or injectors. If there was any **** in the bottom of your tank, it would have sucked it into the filter. Try that first. If it still won't run, then maybe the injectors are totally clogged. Get a new fuel filter first, if it runs, use a very good fuel injector cleaner, like Chevron or seafoam, or take it to a shop that can use their professional cleaners.

Running low/out of gas is a no no. Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key on?

Rule of thumb,.....try not to let you tank drop below a 1/4 tank so often. If you do it alot, it can over work you fuel pump and kill it.

easiest way to change it is just cut the alumn where the hump is above the fuel tank instead of dropping the whole thing.....you access the pump since it will be right there on top of the tank....the metals about 1mm thick
