Default Nitto drag radial owners....

I need opinions.

I'm picking up my C5 on Sunday(that's the plan anyway). However, it's looking like rain that day and I'll have a 320 mile trip on mainly interstate roads to get back home.

Will I be ok or should I not chance it?

I run the Nitto 315/35/17 555r's. I run mine in the rain all the time. Just drive the speed limit or a little less if its really pouring and you should be fine. You can't do that **** with Mickys.

I have them on my daily driver (second set) - should be OK as long as there's some thread left, thinking new they're only 6/32. Drive carefully and no abrupt maneuvers.

my nitto's are pretty new and they handle better then the street tires I had in wet weather. Softer tire means more traction wet or dry as long as there tread.

I agree, as long as you have tread on the tires, just drive slower than normal and be aware of the conditions. We have Nitto 555R 315's on our DD.

Everyone else is right on. If they have tread they are fine. Just slow down a little and drive very easy when raining. Try and avoid abrupt maneuvers or the like that will break traction. If they are bald or close get rid of them.

Werd, when it rained a while back i tried to punch it off a roll and it would want to grab the street.. and just wheel hop, on streets it would just spin for days, get them they are a great tire for a DD.
