Rear mount turbo goes 10's :)
#1
10.87 @ 125.93
First pass of the night, left on 10psi spun for about 5ft then hooked and booked.
Track conditions were 95 degrees and 5000' DA
Car has one new 26x11.50x16 ET street and one old one. I need to buy a another new one though, car pulls to what ever side the old one is, different circumfrence tires + spool = no. Front tires were standard 275's on 17's
The breakdown
60'----1.627
330---4.533
1/8---6.955
MPH--102.94
1000-9.080
1/4---10.870
MPH--125.93
2nd pass
Launched on 15psi, blew the tires off, got back on it and then popped an i/c pipe off right after the 1/8, went like 95 in the 1/8 and did a 13.0 @ 85 to finish.
Backed it up with 3rd pass
10.89 @ 126.74---1.656 60'
4th pass
10.99 @ 126.22---1.726 60'
5th pass
11.1 @ 122, track was pretty slick at this point and could not launch hard. Would just spin.
I think the car has 10.6x in it in winter with a 1.5x 60'.
Interesting observation... The car runs fastest at 15-16psi, when I turn it up to 18psi it slows down and becomes more prone to detonate. I'm thinking it could be back pressure so I'm going to try a larger housing that I have and see if it picks up any. I think i'm just out of turbo though. I am able to build 15psi on the transbrake without pulling timing or a 2 step pretty quick, but the track will not hold that much.
Big thanks to 1320 for building most of the car and good advice.
