Top Stock went to a you guessed it, LS1 Trans AM with a 9.26 and ran the low 9.20's all day. congrats to them and thanks for showin all the oldschoolers how its done. car had "sexy photos" down the side of it.:jest:
ProStock Qualifying: Fastest field...EVER with a 6.41 bump spot Note: a showdown car (the showdown is just a 20k race between a bunch of seasonal top dogs) went 6.31 for the et record then followed it up today with a 6.32 but does not count under ihra rules:(
winner of showdown was a red 2007 shebly with a 6.36et at 217(?)
ProMod Qualifying: again Fastest Field in IHRA history with a 6.164 bumpp spot
Note: new ET AND Speed record w/ a 6.01 at 235? (will double check speed)
Alcohol F/C: started the day with a 12.74!!! bump spot... ended with a 5.88 bump spot
Nitro F/C: started the day with an OH SO BLAZING 13.3 bump spot... ended with a 4.96 bump spot
and of course Nitro T/F: field is set. fields bump spot... 4.68
Note: new IHRA and Track speed record w/ a 325.6 mph trap
i will double check everything but thought i might give you guys some cool results from the day
