Default Gauge Question...

I was looking to swap out the stock gauge overlays on my 98 bird to the silver faced ones but it says 99-02 TA's. Did the gauges change that much between 98-99. Or can i still swap out to the silver face gauge on my 98?

Thanks for your help...

There are some differences. There were many changes made to the 99-02 gauges, i.e. water temp. gauge, location of SES light etc. When you order, be sure to get the gauges specified for 1998. What brand are you buying?

MacEwen overlays will be the best you can buy, along with the easiest installation. The best price you will find is from www.ws6store.com. On the website they do not list the overlays for 1998, but call them and see if you can order the overlays. I did that and they had the 1998 style shipped out from MacEwen. The have odd store hours, 5PM-10PM EST. M-F.
