Corvette Performance - 01/02 Z06 Differences

I've heard this before, and forgot.
What are the differences in the 01/02 Z06's.
Once I get my car back together I'd like to look at some.


Other than the cam/valvetain/cats; what are the differences in them

Totally didn't even see that.
I looked through all the posts in the section, too; well the title's of them.

Cam, ex vavles, 01 has PUPs, Speed Way white (01 only 352), springs (yup 01 take less lift), wheels (diff makers), 02 gets EB, 01 late year HUP option 02+ standard, production way up on 02+, 03 50th edition badges, 04 gets Z16 RPO, 03 early gets steel shift forks...

More out there but that is all I could remember.

also 01' had differend piston rings. Lower tension oil rings caused excesssive oil use in some 01's. GM made a change in 02' that fixed the problem...

When/If I goto get one it'll def. be an 02+; that is unless I find a great deal on an 01.
Like $20K, or just a hair higher :)
