Ran the TT Chevelle on Tuesday.
I ran it Tuesday, but had some more problems. Good news is nothing broke, bad news is that I ran out of gear.
All runs were on 93 octane, and my cars has a 3850 lb raceweight. I made 2 passes with only 10 psi and went 10.80 @ 130 even on both passes. Went through the traps at about 6600 rpm.
I reset the boost up to 18 psi and ran out of gear, I had it set to 10 psi in 1st gear, 12 psi in second, and 18 psi in 3rd with the E-boost.
Due to a bad launch and having to pedal it the pass was pretty bad. I launched with a 1.90 60', my 1/8 mile was a 7.0@112, and my quarter was 10.55@ 138.
1.9 seconds before I tripped the clocks, I ran out of gear and was on the rev limiter at 7000 rpm till I let off right before I finished, hit the brakes just as I crossed the traps. The car sounded like it had gunshots coming out the tail pipes and was blowing flames out the tailpipes also! I luckily have it on video so I was able to time exactly when I first hit the rev limiter to when I actually finished the pass.
I was pretty dissapointed that I did not get to see how much power the car put to the ground by my trap speed.
I need to get some 3.08 gears for my 3 series carrier and some new tires. I have 3.42's now but did not count for converter efficiency. I also am trying new tires seeing that I has to try to keep the car straight the entire pass!
I hope the 3.08 gears are not weaker then my 3.42's, the ring gear is much thinner. I guess I will see.

I am swapping to 3.08 gears and going back to the track. I need to do a little rear suspension adjustment though. The thing gets out of the hole slower then my Olds Intrigue! But, it is not setup as a drag car so I will have to deal with some of that I guess.
I have never been to Orlando in my life. Why do you ask?

there was some other guy that has a lsx chevelle and was in orlando last week or the week before, think he was turbo too.
doyou have adjustable shocks? set them stiffer so it plants those tires down.

Yes I have fully adjustable suspension. I have changed nothing since I was N/A and it used to hook very well for having 17's.
I am gonna have to hook up my 2 step. I cannot get a solid launch rpm and boost down. At anything more them 0 psi it will blow the tires off with the trans break. It is that much harder without a drag slick to launch. What is funny though, it before the turbo setup, I used to launch 1.60's, now I am super lucky just to get 1.80's! Dang turbos!

A lot of folks suggested I set my 2 step at 4000 rpms. Some guys run theirs at 4500, but I need to see what my car does first. I did some research on 2 steps last week, and the concensus is that they really make it easier to work on the car's launch.
