Question will my driveshaft break

My mods are in my sig and when I put the cam in my tranny **** the bed. I had it rebuilt and when I put it on the dyno the tail housing broke. I got that fixed and I will be racing this friday do you think my driveshaft or rearend will break? Anyones opinion will help. BTW I use slicks at the track

Is it the factory steel or alum. drive shaft? If it's the steel, I wouldn't worry about it all that much. I would be concerned about the rear.

Ive been running 6.20's on a stock aluminum driveshaft on the footbrake. I just changed it so I would feel comfortable on the brake... On the other hand my buddy broke his driveshaft and he ran 7.70's

I ran my stock alum and ran 11:00 flat. And I ran it at the track in may, with a 1.5 60ft what would of gone mid tens ( had issues at high rpms).

Mine lived through 1.6 60's in my heavy m6 car. I replaced it soon after.

It depends on what rear gear your car came with. 2.73=steel. 3.23=aluminum.
