from what i just read the 2002 Z06 cam has a smaller bolt circle than the LS1 cam. with a stock LS1 short block and stock unmilled 6.0 heads will i need to run 7.450 pushrods?

thats where i got that info from. is that the Z06 cam all the FI people are runnin or is it the 01 Z06 cam?

To have the same load on the hydraulic lifter you need 7.425" pushrods. A .050" smaller base circle means half of .050" or .025" on the pushrod end. The numbers are 19.7mm for standard ls1 19.3mm on 01 ls6 and 19.0mm on 02 ls6. These are radius numbers or half of the base circle. The size difference on the radius is .7mm or .027". The 02 ls6 valves are .6mm longer to compensate. That is .024"....the closest pushrod would be 7.425"!
