Bringing a rifle from MEXICO????? 7mm Mauser
Hello all
I have a question regarding a rifle I was given by my grandfather.
supposedly the rifle is a 7mm mauser, bolt action type of rifle that is old. Its been in mexico all this time and I would like to bring it down here to keep it as a souvenir and gift from grandpa.
is there any way that I can do this legally?
who do I need to contact to get more information?
what other info would I need./

take it apart and ship it with no ammo. or use 2 seperate boxes so there is not a complete gun that can be assembled. i would think that would be ok, or at least that is what i would do.

have it shipped to a class 3firearms dealer. not sure how it works on mexicos end, but a Class 3 dealer can get any type shipped to them.
