Question G5X3 on a 112 LSA

I am wanting to put a cam in my 99 SS and was thinking about the G5X3. I know this is one of the larger cams for the LS1, but I know that they make good power as well. I don't want to rev my motor past 6500 since my car isn't a track car. If I had this cam cut on a 112 LSA with 4 degrees advance built in, would it be right for me? Will the 4 degrees advance cause an issue with clearance with stock heads? I have been playing around with a bunch of different cam grinds from all of our sponsors with Engine Analyzer and this one seems to produce the hp/tq curve I am after. Any insight would be appreciated.

The G5X-3 normally comes with 4 degrees of advance already ground in. This is one of the reasons why it makes such good dynamic compression & excellent mid-range torque, yet good top-end power.

Thanks Patrick. I think I'm finally starting to understand some of this cam stuff. I didn't know that LG ground their cams with 4 degrees advance already built in. This is good to know. I made a comparison graph of the grind you recommended to me and the LG. They were within 1 hp as far as average hp and 5 ft lbs on average tq. You know your stuff on cam grinds

So does that make their 112 LSA cams a 112+4 (108 ICL) or 116+4 (112 ICL)?

112 LSA +4 advance = 108 ICL

That's a 108. I just wasn't sure exactly how LG had worked it all out. Thanks for the input on that.
