Default 1976 Camaro

Finally went ot the track Saturday night at a last minute deal. I went out there thinking I still had a full bottle from Vernons Summers Last Blast from last month, but when I got out there that bottle was completely empty. So a friend of mine gave me a bottle and i could only get 650-700 psi out of it when heated. So I ran it anyways. Was having some traction issues but just a little more adjusting and it will be perfect. Here is this pass. The next pass after this one, we dropped the tire pressure and I put 2 degrees of timing in the box and it ran a 6.42 @ 112 mph.We didnt get that you on video cause my buddy forgot to take the lens cover off, we got to hear it though. We didnt think it was that bad since this is the first time at the track in over a year and I never even pulled the hood off that night. Especially since we didnt have much nitrous.

Sweet car.

That's some mega MPH for a 6.42, won't be long before you clip off some 5's. Mine with the timing backed off will run mid 6.0's at 112 (N/A) and 5.90's at 114 with low 1.3X 60 fts when the timing is up. Once you get that bitch to hook you'll be sitting pretty. What's your goal for the car to run?

well the car is completely street legal and drive it on the weekends all the time here in texas. i guess really my goal is to hit in the 5's in a street legal car?? the video is the car running on the plate system which we hope to get in the low 6's. the car has a brand new nx fogger set up as a second stage that i have yet to use. want to line the plate out and then the fogger and then put them together. would be nice for a 5.70's or so but that is a long way off. here is a pic of the motor, and thanks on the comment
