Default mn12 tranny

what did the mn12 tranny come in? vettes? If so would it fit in a 4th gen camaro? are they any good?

I'm pretty sure it came in some of the '93 f-bodies, '04 through 06 GTO, C5 zo6. The only one that would work for you would be the one from the GTO. Just remove that remote shifter base thing(whatever they call it) and bolt it in your f-body.

These T56s have a different gear ratio set( 2.97LGR). over the M6(2.66LGR)

The MN12 only came in the Z06 Corvette. There is no way any Corvette transmission would bolt into an fbody. As mentioned above, you can use a GTO T56. It has the 3-piece synchro rings, and the 2.97 first, just like the Z06 Vette.
