Default car keeps dying...

Can a faulty/clogged fuel filter cause this? by the way, this is a honda civic. Car has about 98k miles. Filter's never been changed. Thanks in advance.

...Hey, its a civic. You mean check if the plugs are done, or check to see if the engine's running lean/rich?

it wont exactly be running rich because of a filter....the plugs should def. be done after 100k miles....theres a few other possibilities it could be but i want to see how your cars gonna run after those two adjustments before i throw anything else at you

oh ive changed the plugs a few times. i also just did a new cap n' rotor pretty recently. im thinking its either the fuel filter, fuel pump, bad ground, or maybe even a bad pcm. just trying to rule out the little things first.

1998. no i havent cleaned the intake or tb. i might have ran some fuel sys cleaner at one time or another, but im not sure. the charging sys is perfect. the only prob is that it dies. most likely ill change the fuel filter first cause its past due anyway...wouldnt hurt you know? hopefully that'll take care of it.
