Default 4.030 heads on a stock cube engine?

Can a set of 4.030 bore heads go on a stock 3.90 ls1 engine? If so is there anything special needed to make it work?

Thanks.

This needs to be in the Internal section. That is why you arent getting any hits.

Those heads are too big and you will loose hp.

what's too big about them? we know nothing about the heads other than they are supposedly for a 4.030 bore. 6.0L heads are on a motor that is a 4.00 bore. you see many people putting them on a 346 LS1.

You'll be shrouding the combustion chamber on the heads. Yes, they will work, but won't be nearly close to optimal. The air flow coming into the cylinders will be disrupted from it's optimal path.

C-Dub you are going to lose power, especially over the Darts! Those stage 3 heads are meant for the larger bore, when running them on the 3.910 you will shroud the combustion chamber and actually should lose compression.

Watch the valve size , if there to big they will clip or hit the edge of the cylinder.
