Default Manuel Swap

hey i was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost to do a WHOLE manuel swap, like the service, the parts, etc.

kits run about 1400-2000 used depending where you get it. Not sure on labor, whatever it takes for them to do it, usually about a day for experienced mechanics.

thanks, i will be looking into it, cuz there's this really nice white ss with a bunch of mods, but the only thing bad is its auto

auto's aren't necessarily bad. If you're more into dragging an auto is definately better, but manuals are more fun to drive on the street. It's all personal preference though when it comes down to it.

yea, im just gonna be street racing and cruising and since it is a sports car it needs to be stick......well in my book, thanks

It cost me $2800 to do the trans and gears. I bought a used trans with 24,000 miles on it, torque arm mount, cross member, pedals, switches. All new interior parts, new flywheel, clutch, hydrualics. All new rear end bearings, seals and gears.
I did all the work myself.

To verify trans mileage I made sure the vin on the trans matched the cars vin and ran a carfax. It says the car was totalled at 24,xxx miles.
