Florida Members - Super Chevy - Gainesville - October 20th-22nd!

I'll be there with our usual gang of racers/drinkers/party people :D Just look for the green Nova and you'll find us!

Anyone else heading out? This will be the last one for Gainesville it seems, as the 2007 Super Chevy schedule has Gainesville missing in action. The only dates for Florida next year are Bradenton in February and Moroso in September.

Racing and show as always, been that way every year.

Friday is TNT for weekend racers from 12 to 5 for an additional $25. I've made 8 runs in one year, as turnout Friday can be light with racers just dropping trailers and teching in.

I may head out there to watch some races and test out the new camera, but it depends on how busy I'll be that weekend.

We'll be there as always! probably be there sunday same as last year.

I want to go to either this or the silver springs show, but seeing as how I want to better my first and only time at the track of a 14.0 :emb: ill probably go to gainesville.
Ive got to take off work so I can't really do both, plus $32 for silver springs sucks..

I just wanna say YOU ALL SUCK. We'd so be there, but we can't get out of town 2 weeks in a row. Hope to see you all at the NPD Show at Silver Springs this weekend!

It's only $32 if you aren't bringing a car and walking in. Go with a buddy with a car entered and it drops to $17, or enter a car at the same price.

Super Chevy isn't cheap either at $20-25 a day, but also well worth it. I'll be out having a good time as always.

Not really a huge planner here. We race until we lose (hopefully late :D ) then lots of chicken wings, beer, more food, more beer, then crawl home and repeat the next day! Sounds like fun eh? :)

We'll likely stake out a corner, so come by and say hello. You can look for the blue and red Novas, as well as a few early 64-65 Novas, a first and second gen Camaro, and likely a few other cars. I'll likely have the National Parts Depot tent out there somewhere...

I'm going i always get good deals at there swap meets!!

She ran an 11.54 at 115 mph best with a 1.566 60 foot on the drag radials yesterday. I didn't spray her as the air was about 2700 DA so I knew I wouldn't make any new best passes. Just went out, made 4 runs, then hung out with friends and helped put away 3 cases of Bud Light :chug:

I was out there today. First time I have seen nitro and jet cars. That wheelstanding astro van was something else! That was crazy. I don't think I liked it as much as last years Maple Grove show though. Great track action it seemed, but not as much stuff to look at.

It kinda sucked this year but i got my slicks and found some parts! The nite life of the town was better that town knows how to party, im still drunk!!

Does anybody know who was in the red LT1 trans am running mid-high 9's? I didn't get to stay that long to find out. :(
