Default High Octane

If you are running 20psi. You throw in higher octane (IE: 100, 118, etc...) but don't turn the boost up. Will the car have any increased performance? I am under the impression that it won't do anything for the car.

Default

Unless the octane you were running before adding it wasnt enough you will pick up nothing, matter of fact some real high octane race gas will slow you down a little at the same a/f ratio.

Although there is nothing wrong putting some higher octane fuel in if going to track ot dyno for insurance. Better too much octane then not enough
