Default F1 or F1-R on 8.5:1 383 LT1??

Anyone done this or know where I can get some info on it? Currently the car is running a Vortech V1-T trim with a cog belt making 17lbs. I am having consistent belt issues (Blower bracket flexing under boost and walking the belt off towards the front of the car) Especially when I spray the nitrous on top of the boost. About to give up on the Vortech if I can't find any other solutions and try the ATI. Any pics/help/feedback would be cool...

you can fit an F1 if you notch the block. i think to fit thr F1R you will need a custom bracket made. you should be able to have a shop fab up some more support for your vortech bracket to eliminate flexing. that is what i did because the D1SC bracket will flex a little also.

The YSi will fit the T-trim brackets fairly well and someone (can't remember who) was manufacturing and selling stiffer brackets specifically for the YSi/LT1 combo.

Along w/ notching the block for the F1 you'll also have to notch the ABS bracket. I discovered this when putting my F1 in.
