Default Cam Question..

Hey guys. I was wondering about some cam's.

Thought maybe you guys could help me out here.

I have a 2001 camaro 6 speed and I am going heads and cam with it.

I wanted a big cam but not really looking for alot of valvetrain noise. i.e. typewrite sound in the cabin"

I want to make as much power and torque as I can under the curve and not have to spin the motor to 7 thousand to make the power.

I dont mind alot of lope, but I dont want the typewrite sound.

So.. I guess I will have to stay with something alittle smaller then I wanted.

I had an FM13 but it didnt make enough power for me. The sound was nice and there was no cabin noise that sounded like the rockers were falling off.

The cam's I was considering are:

1)- TSP Torquer V.2
232/234 .595/.598

2)- TSP 233/239 .595/.603

or anything else.

Please help me out.

If you have dyno sheets or video's that would be great!

I made hardly ANY power with the cam only fm13 (370) and the heads I have NOW are TEA stage III. So I would realistically like to hit the 460-465 rwhp numbers. I have 90/90, electric water pump, qtp long tubes, full 2.5 true duals with no cats and magnaflow bullets, comp oem lifters, 42 pound lucas injectors.

I've got the 233/239 cam and I love it. It's got lots of *****, but it does have valvetrain noise as I'm sure almost any cam over stock would!

my fm13 had NO valvetrain noise IN the cockpit.

But I appreciate the info on the cam.
