Question Any Of You Dealing With HPE

Is there anybody here dealing or having their ride worked on by HorsePower Engineering in Houston? I am having some work done to my car in a few weeks and want to know you guy's experience etc. They are going to put in headers and gears for me and I want to know a little more in depth before I let them get to my internals. If your wondering why I went with them instead of MTI it's because they are about 2 miles from my house and it is easy to get a ride back instead of going across town about 25 + miles to MTI.
Thanks in advance for any response.

It seemed to have settled down now. Or at least what is reported because I dont see too much happening around here from news source. Or could it be that all the news coverage has been concentrated by the 59 south area? Least I can say is I live in a place where I can leave my keys in the ignition with the windows rolled down and only worry about airplanes falling out of the sky on my house. More of the "crime" seems to be on the east side of 45 N, I feeling more secure live on the West side of all that.

I met one of them, kind of a burly bearded guy that said he used to work at MTI. Which one would that be?

I went to HPE for my car. 450/419 cam and bolt-ons only, and I haven't had any trouble out of it so far after a year. I definitely recommend them.

Actually, I don't remember. They were having a group purchase special at the time.....I'd have to dig up the invoice

They have my car right now ...

Installing a set of cnc'd GMPP LS6 heads, LTs w/cats, C-Cam, Vig 3200, SFC, ASP pulley, tras cooler, LPE CAI, and a 160stat ... think that's it.

The shop seems fairly laid back and very clean ... I can repost on this thread next week when I get the car back to let you know my impresssions if you like. The only long lead time item seems to be LT's for the GTO, but I anticipate no issues.

Should be a blast to drive when they're done.

Cya ... JHH
