Default Slow blinkers

Ive got a 2001 Formula, and it has the SLOWEST blinkers on any car Ive ever owned. Is this normal?

are you sure there slow, or are you really just comparing them to "every other" car youve owned?.....if you really think that somethings wrong you have two options really.....fuses, and bulbs...have fun

yeah...they're slow compared to all other cars i've owned. i'm probably going to try a new relay and see if that will speed up the pulse

If it's a mechanical flasher module, make sure you have the correct bulbs installed in the vehicle. If they are lower wattage than the system was designed for, it will blink slowly or not at all (typically if you have a bulb blow, it won't blink....electronic flasher modules are another story though, they will blink).

That's where I'd start.

As long as you use a standard, two-terminal, mechanical or thermal flasher it should work fine. I believe the standard thermal flasher pn is 552.

There are lots of different types:
