Took my motor out....there was a little bit if metal shavings on the drain plug....the lifters were eating the cam....wasnt a bunch of metal shavings only a little bit. a bunch of people told me it will be ok just drop the pan and clean EVERYTHING. Should i re bearing the motor? i was gonna take off the cams and clean and check them so i guess if they look like they need to be changed change em if not its ok...or you think i might over look something that would cause more damage down the road?

Also....will over tightened rockers cause the lifters to eat the cam?
