No oil pressure until you rev truck??? Ok, I have a completly rebuilt motor in my escalade. New ported oil pump from Lingenfelter. There is no oil pressure until you rev the truck up. Once it has oil pressure and you drive it around for awhile and shut it off for a couple minutes and start it back up, it has oil pressure. If you leave it for a couple hours, you have to rev it up again. Any ideas?????

Confirm your oil pressure with a mechincal guage. The oil senser might be scewed up. If you get the same readings as your factory guage, then you might have pinched the o-ring when you installed the pump. Pretty common i hear.
