So my airbag light has been going on and off randomly for a couple months. Today I decided to take a look inside the steering wheel to see if there was anything strange.

First I took out the airbag fuse, and turned the car on, the airbag light diddnt come on at all. At first I thought this was good but after reading my Chilton car care book i read this "With the fuse removed and the ignition switch ON, the air bag warning lamp will be on..." Ok so there is another problem.

So now I start to unscrew the the screws from the back of the steering wheel. Starting with the top left one I start to loosen it, then after it starts to loosen the horn goes off and wont stop until I tighned the screw back.

Can anybody help me with this?

Something is wrong. Mine doesn't do that when I take out the airbag module. Maybe the horn pin is held up somewhere. I would unplug the batt and take off the airbag and see whats up with the horn pin.
