Default Just gained 22rwhp and 30rwtq will that be enough to change a 11.2 pass to a10.9 pass

I picked up some real good gains from a retune(22rwhp and 30rwtq) those #'s might be off a little on the tq side I know it's at least that or more. Anyway Before I ran a 11.2 NA against the wind. My goal is to break into the 10's na with out taking too much weight out. The car now is 3500lbs. I can pull alot of weight out but still want to have a street car. I gained alot on the nos also so a very low 10 to a high 9 would not be impossible. What do you guys think

Gonna be close. That extra 30 ftlbs will get you out of the box quicker and with the better 60' and the extra 22 rwhp. all things being equal I'll think you'll get it.

But did you do it with a stock bottom end and 241 production heads swinging a M6? I will have some new times oct.30th at E-town then the next week it will run even quicker at Atco. I don't take my car out cause guy's like you would egg me on till I was lined up with someone. I need my license for my job and I have no self control so I don't drive it much on the street. Whats up with the track rental Nov.6th? I thought you wanted to go

See what I mean about egging me on. It doesn't take much if I'm out in my car for a race to happen. So you are down for the rental or not? It's nov.6th so there is some time to get ready. I'm pulling all the weight I can for the rental and plan going with a bigger shot and going for broke. That should be the last outing of the year so screw it, I'm gonna go for it

It may be enough, traction/60 foot will be the determining factor, if the car will still hook good with the added power, then I'd say yes, it's gonna be close.

What is all done to the car? What did you trap before? Where did the extra power come from? What 60' did you get for the 11.2? How much spray did you run for the 10.6?

On engine it was cutting low 1.5 60ft. and it was trapping at 120 NA
with spray it was cutting 1.47 60ft's and trapping at 129 NOS
As far as the engine it's a stock bottom end with a set of ported 241's
The extra power came from a tune.

Your right there already. If you can pull some weight and get your 60ft. down a little you will be there easy.Maybe if you go to the bathroom first. I cut low 1.5 60ft's NA with a stick and stock shocks and springs and a 28" tire. Your way closer than me right now. I might buy some QA1's. That would get me in the 1.4 range NA and 1.3's with spray. There is room for improvment on your 60ft. times. All it's gonna take for you is a wind shift or some colder air for you to hit a 10.99
